About The Role

The Director of Talent Strategy will architect and evolve the creator strategy that positions 100 Thieves as the destination for top talent in gaming and culture. This person will bring deep experience from the talent agency world with a strong understanding of representation dynamics, dealmaking, and talent career development and apply that knowledge to building a best-in-class creator program at 100 Thieves.

This leader will be responsible for driving our talent pipeline, fortifying relationships across agencies, managers, and creators, and ensuring our roster reflects the most relevant and influential voices across gaming, entertainment, and culture.

Responsibilities:


Talent Strategy & Vision
  • Develop a multi-year creator strategy that positions 100 Thieves as the most desirable home for creators globally.
  • Translate agency-side best practices into scalable 100 Thieves frameworks for scouting, evaluating, and signing talent.
  • Identify emerging categories, creator trends, and cultural white spaces to guide roster decisions.
  • Partner with leadership to align talent strategy with company priorities-including content, partnerships, brand, and new business.
  • Research, pitch, and book relevant Talent for 100 Thieves tentpole events and activations, including but not limited to music performances, content features, and partner event appearances
Industry & Relationship Building
  • Leverage your agency background to cultivate deep, ongoing relationships with agents, managers, labels, studios, publishers, and creative partners.
  • Act as the face of 100 Thieves within the representation ecosystem, ensuring a consistent flow of top-tier creator opportunities.
  • Maintain a strong external presence at industry events, conferences, showcases, and agency meetings.
  • Build and maintain a robust relationship map and outreach system across agencies and management companies.
Creator Recruitment & Development
  • Lead all sourcing, scouting, and evaluation of potential creators for 100 Thieves.
  • Build a structured talent pipeline informed by your agency experience and industry insights.
  • Partner with Talent Management on onboarding and ongoing creator development-content, brand collaborations, community integration, and strategic career growth.
  • Develop retention strategies that strengthen long-term alignment with 100 Thieves.
Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Work with Partnerships to identify revenue opportunities enabled by creators and incorporate them into talent acquisition priorities.
  • Collaborate with Content, Brand, Apparel, Esports, and Marketing to integrate creators into major moments and initiatives.
  • Partner with Legal and Finance on deal structures, compensation frameworks, negotiations, and long-term planning.
Operational Excellence
  • Build scalable systems for tracking talent outreach, evaluations, deal flow, and performance metrics.
  • Conduct competitive analysis of talent strategies across gaming, entertainment, and digital media.
Requirements:
  • Must come from the talent agency world-experience at a major agency (UTA, CAA, WME, TPG/ICM), boutique entertainment/creator agency, or similar representation environment.
  • 8+ years of experience in talent representation, creator management, entertainment partnerships, or adjacent fields.
  • Deep network across agents, managers, creators, and cultural tastemakers.
  • Strong strategic thinker with a track record of building and executing talent roadmaps.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills with high emotional intelligence.
  • Strong understanding of gaming, creators, and digital entertainment ecosystems.
  • Experience negotiating talent deals, evaluating talent value, and working cross-functionally with legal, content, and business teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, founder-led, high-visibility environment.
  • Passion for gaming, culture, and the creator economy.
