Our partner Calashock Commerce is an eCommerce systems integrator specializing in designing and developing websites on the BigCommerce platform. It's a fast-growing company with ambitious plans and offices in London, Tallinn and Toronto.
Their services include e-commerce design and development, search marketing services as SEO and PPC management and e-commerce consultancy centered around CRO and UX.
They work with large SMB and mid-market clients in various industry verticals
around the world , including health, fitness, food, beverage and B2B. As

Your
main tasks will be to develop, maintain and update back-end apps and integrations for Calashock global client base, working alongside a team in Tallinn or London.
Responsibilities:
Main responsibilities: - Developing high-quality and secure e-commerce websites on the BigCommerce and headless solution platforms;
- Integrating third-party apps, platforms and software with BigCommerce;
- Evaluating and optimising existing website code to ensure it meets both internal and industry standards, recommending improvements, and implementing changes;
- Undertaking cross-browser testing before handing projects over to clients;
- Liaising with team members to resolve issues and implement solutions;
- Support colleagues by providing specific advice on technical aspects of client pitches and ad-hoc work requests;
- Maintaining organised and efficient file and data storage;
- Keeping well-informed of job knowledge and best practices by tracking technology and programming language advances, taking part in professional development opportunities, and reading industry publications and websites.
Skills Required:
Requirements: You are the right candidate, if you have: - At least 5 years of professional experience in full-stack development;
- Proven experience in developing and deploying web-based apps;
- Good technical understanding of RESTful APIs;
- Experience in using a variety of programming languages, particularly HTML, CSS and Javascript;
- You are comfortable with Linux environments and have already had contact with Docker and ideally with Kubernetes;
- Knowledge of online retail and SaaS eCommerce platforms is preferable;
- Ability to communicate with clients, colleagues and contractors;
- Very good command of English;
- You are a team player, curious and proactive in proposing new technical solutions;
- Demonstrated ability to identify process and team improvements;
- Strong leadership and time management skills;
